The Milky Way from Bombo Quarry - a photo on Flickriver

            Bombo quarry is now a heritage site, near Kiama in New South Wales, Australia. The rock is latite, a type of basalt.

I took this photo in May 2018 and had more or less abandoned it as Lightroom didn't seem able to manage the noise. Recently I've been trying Topaz Denoise and Sharpen, though, and they do a much better job. Obviously, the photo's still not perfect but it is quite a lot better.
