Farleigh Hungerford Castle - a photo on Flickriver

            A medieval castle built in the 1300's by Sir Thomas Hungerford.
The castle largely  remained in the ownership of the Hungerford family over the centuries, but by the 18th century was no longer needed and fell into disrepair.
Eight human shaped lead coffins lie in a crypt underneath the chapel.
