Der Blick von oben

            Vom Dach des Oberhausener Gasometers aus geht der Blick weit über das westliche Ruhrgebiet. So kann lassen sich auch Eisenbahnstrecken fast im Modellbahnformat ausmachen. Die DB-Lok 193 312 befindet sich auf der Verbindungsstrecke zwischen Oberhausen-Osterfeld Süd und dem Abzweig Walzwerk; am Haken hat sie einen beladenen Zug mit fabrikneuen Automobilen. Rechts ist die so genannte ÖPNV-Trasse zu erkennen, auf der neben etlichen Buslinien aiuch die STOAG-/Ruhrbahn-Straßenbahnlinie 112 verkehrt. Die Erhebung im Hintergrund ist die Halde Haniel.
