"Die Tür zum Sensenmann ist verschlossen"

            Türdetail bei einem „Kasten“ im Freilichtmuseum Stübing.

Übertragungsjahr: 1990 
Der zweigeschossige, großräumige „Kasten“ diente zur Vorratshaltung von Mehl, Fleisch und Lebensmitteln. Der in verzinktem Blockbau errichtete Speicher weist eine sehr sorgfältig gearbeitete Zimmerung mit Klingschrot auf, und auf der Rückseite ist ein kleines gothisches Fenster eingebaut. Der Kessel an der Außenwand befindet sich ein „Krautkessel“, der zur Bestückung einer Krautgrube benötigt wurde  
Hinweis: Dieses Gebäude ist das ältestes Objekt im Österreichischen Freilichtmuseum
