atsf2654_IrvineCa_11+5+66_unk - a photo on Flickriver

            Santa Fe GP7s #2654 and 2651 equipped for passenger service lead an excursion special over the Venta Spur in Tustin, Ca. This movement was coordinated by the Orange Empire Trolley Museum (now OERM). 

The slide mount notes this as a run by at a location that appears to be the Walnut Avenue railroad crossing, with the train headed south toward the Los Angeles to San Diego mainline. It looks like some track maintenance has recently been completed. This branch lasted into the 1980s before it was abandoned and replaced with residential and commercial developments, though in Irvine, long stretches were converted into a trail.
