Think It Might Have Rained Last Night

            This hole in the ground is normally just that but when the drainage system cannot cope this acts as a holding tank come occasional pond . The drains were certainly up to something last night as in the midst of the downpours our loo started to sound like a triffid with it's gurglings and failure to stay at the level it is meant to - kept us awake till gone 2 in the morning and I had to abandon flickr before I had done my commenting - sorry folks if missed you , will catch up later .
 Back to the temporary pond , we have been here since the late 1980s and have only seen this fill a handful of times ! Oh and we call this patch " Bodmin Moor " as it reminds us of Cornwall  with the gorse that grows around the edge and is in flower come May time when we used to visit Kernow !!
