Funtòs

            Il 20 giugno 1944, quarantatrè partigiani, arrestati durante un rastrellamento in Val Grande, vennero torturati e fucilati dai fascisti a Fondotoce, nel luogo dove ora sorge il Sacrario “Parco della Memoria e della Pace”, dove su un muro sono riportati i nomi di altri 1200 partigiani trucidati nel Verbano Cusio Ossola.

Nessun tentativo negazionista o di revisione storica oggi in atto potrà mai sovvertire il fatto che la Resistenza fu la reazione alle atrocità fasciste. E neppure il tentativo furbesco di far passare il fascismo come “libertà di pensiero” potrà eludere il fatto che il fascismo è un crimine.
