O movimento #EleNão #EleNunca foi inicialmente um ato em repúdio ao candidato a presidente da extrema-direita Jair Bolsonaro, e que se espalhou por 
todo as cidades no Brasil. Logo, o movimento passou a aderir outras causas: contra o fascismo, racismo, homofobia, e em em oposição a volta da ditadura militar. 

Foi a maior manifestação de mulheres na história do Brasil. 

Nos últimos dados do IBGE de 2018, o Brasil já tem mais mulheres (4,5 milhões a mais) do que homens na população.
Mesmo assim, todos os direitos conquistados pelas mulheres fazem parte de um sistema comandado por homens.
- Um em cada dez deputados federais era mulher em 2017;
- Apenas 7,9% dos municípios têm delegacias especializadas para atender mulheres.
- Mulheres ocupavam 37,8% dos cargos gerenciais em 2016  no Brasil.
-  Entre 1980 e 2013, o país contabilizou 106.093 assassinatos de mulheres.
- O Brasil encontra-se em quinto lugar na posição de homicídios a mulheres, numa lista de 83 países.

The movement #NotHim #NeverHim was initially an act in repudiation of the candidate for president of extreme-drew Jair Bolsonaro, and that spread by
all cities in Brazil. Soon, the movement began to join other causes: against fascism, racism, homophobia, and in opposition to the return of military dictatorship.

It was the largest manifestation of women in the history of Brazil.

In the latest data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) of 2018, Brazil already has more women (4.5 million more) than men in the population.
Even so, all the rights won by women are part of a male-led system.
- One in ten federal deputies was a woman in 2017;
- Only 7.9% of municipalities have specialized police stations to serve women.
- Women held 37.8% of management positions in 2016 in Brazil.
- Between 1980 and 2013, the country accounted for 106,093 murders of women.
- Brazil ranks fifth in the homicide position for women, in a list of 83 countries.
