Yes, he does, that tiny plastic fish. Yes, he can. You just have to wind up the mechanics and it starts. Then there is the previously mentioned  wagging and a sound that is more reminiscent of a rattlesnake than a fish – and certainly not a shark. That would be more proof – and has anyone heard of a tail wagging shark? You can't hear anything here, but at least I can show you the wobbling here ;-)

In a wind-up toy, it is usually a spiral spring, which is "wound" like a clockwork by being tensioned by turning a winding key. Then it expires and sets the toy in motion.

Ja, das tut er, dieser winzige Plastikfisch. Ja, er kann das. Da muss man nur die Mechanik aufziehen und schon legt er los. Dann gibt es das besagte Wedeln und ein Geräusch, das eher an eine Klapperschlange erinnert denn an einen Fisch – und schon gar nicht an einen Hai. Das wäre noch ein Beweis – und hat schon jemand von einem schwanzwedelnden Hai gehört? Hören könnt Ihr hier nichts, aber wenigstens das Wackeln kann ich Euch hier zeigen ;-)

Bei einem Aufziehspielzeug ist es meist eine Spiralfeder, die wie bei einem Uhrwerk "aufgezogen" wird, indem man sie durch Drehung eines Aufziehschlüssels spannt. Danach läuft sie ab und versetzt so das Spielzeug in Bewegung.
