From Great Budworth, it’s less than a 15 minute drive to Marbury Country Park and, from the large car park, it’s only a few minutes’ walk down to Budworth Mere. At least this part of my planned day out was working well. The sun was shining and the January temperature of 9 Deg C felt comfortable. From the lakeside there was a clear view over to the church at Great Budworth and the lakeside path provided some nice reflections of overhanging trees. There were lots of birds and squirrels about but, although I’d brought both my X-T4 and X-T5, neither of the lenses I was using were long enough to be really useful for that kind of photography (18mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/2).
