Red Grouse calling from Heather - a photo on Flickriver

            With all this hot weather we have been having i have not taken too many pics of late so have gone through some of the hundreds of unprocessed images I have taken in the last couple of years .
This cock red grouse was lying low in the heather and suddenly sat up to respond to a calling rival in the distance.
 Taken in the Yorkshire Dales.
