A Look Across the Layers and Colors of Rock in Burro Mesa (Big Bend National Park)

            A look to the north just after starting the hike to Lower Burro Mesa. What drew me into this image was the layers and colors in the rocks on this mountainside. I decided to include a little bit of the nearby foreground because I felt it added a nice color contrast with the greens of the plant life to the more yellows, browns, and reds of the mountainside and then blues of the skies above.
