Porcupine Peak Amongst the Trees of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest

            A view captured while looking to the north along the North Cascades Scenic Highway. While the mountain peak covered with snow was definitely a sight to take in, it was also the contrast of colors that drew me into this image. Nearby were the greens of the evergreen forest. Above that rose the mountain with its mixture of browns and purples. That in turn was contrasted with the blues and whites and the skies above. And yes in the end, a beautiful mountain setting :-)
