La tombe des Démons ailés - a photo on Flickriver

Cette tombe à édicule a été remise au jour en 2004.
Des structures tendues haubanées abritent de grands blocs de tuf -- nous sommes dans la région des "Cités de tuf" --, décorés de sculptures plutôt bien conservées et de grande qualité appartenant au monument.
On peut admirer notamment le fronton avec ses hauts reliefs qui était situé sur la partie supérieure du monument avant l'écroulement. On y distingue un imposant démon marin, ailé et doté de queues pisciformes, identifiable avec Scylla ou Triton qui, le bras droit levé, brandit une rame ou le gouvernail d'un bateau naufragé.
