Lazkaomendi - a photo on Flickriver

Lazkaomendi

            Al noroeste de la Sierra de Aralar, a sus pies, se extiende un pequeño territorio de suaves lomas, donde abundan caserios bien cuidados, grandes prados y algunos bosques. Se puede acceder desde Zaldibia o desde Lazkao.  

A los pies del Aralar guipuzcoano, en la imagen se puede ver de modo casi gráfico el acceso a la cumbre del Txindoki, montaña emblemática y que ha supuesto el bautismo de cumbre para multitud de montañeros de la zona. Su airoso espolón es bien visible desde la lejanía y supone todo un reto para el aficionado a la montaña. 

Las ovejas a lo suyo. Grandes rebaños pastan en estos prados, dando una imágen de paz y tranquilidad, yo diría que bucólica.
