Snow-clad massif.
Grazing pasture around the blue lochan.
An intriguing range of climate-zones
going upwards from sub-Alpine to inland Oceanic.
Snow-capped Cairngorm, Lairig-Ghru Pass and Braeriach
peer down on the famous Spey Valley.
Walking, mountain-biking, kayaking,
skiing, snow-boarding, rock-climbing, sun-bathing on the sandy beaches of Loch Morlich.
All this and more in a pine-wooded, lake-laden
landscape of mountainous grandeur.
Life in the Cairngorms National Park.
