Looking out to sea at the fjord, Loch Hourn, near Corran, Western Highlands.

            Commentary.

The sun begins to set as a sea-haar rises over Loch Hourn
and masks the view of Skye.
Diminishing peaks of Beinn na Caillich,
Na Cruachan and Meall na Coille Duibhe,
darken and fade as the sun follows its inexorable descent
from south-west to west.
The stony beach is fringed by a strand-line of seaweed,
a ragged, wind-swept Gorse bush and a
previously used camp-fire.
Eilean Tioram sits just west of Arnisdale’s semi-circular bay.
A part of our extensive coastline, that few reach.
Those that do, luxuriate in its peace, magnificence and wild beauty.
