CP 7059 @ Thornton, IL. - a photo on Flickriver

            With only being a few weeks old, freshly painted CP 7059 (SD70ACU) leads train GEE1RB (East STL, IL - Bensenville, IL) as it heads north through the Village of Thornton, IL and over the busy 1-294 tri-state tollway on the UP Villa Grove Sub. If you notice on the bridge, the letters “C&EI” are engraved for the former owner of the line, Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad. Taken: 8-24-20.
