BIRMANIE HPO WIN DAUNG Grotte du Labyrinthe

            Situé à 40 km de Monywa, Hpo Win Daung est le 3ème site archéologique de Birmanie. Plus de 500 cavités ou temples troglodytes ont été taillés dans le calcaire pendant plusieurs siècles: du XIV ème au XX ème siècle..Ils contiennent plus de 2000 statues de Buddha et des peintures murales (XVII/XVIII èmes siècles).
Cette grotte date du XVIII ème et contient 70 images de Buddha. Ceux ci sont assis (Bhumiparsha) et prennent la Terre à témoin.
