Ice storm - a photo on Flickriver

Ice storm

            This is one from the ice storm of 2013. I haven’t shared any yet since I’ve only been on Flickr for a short time. So I will be sharing them in the days to come. 
It was quite a sight to be seen, spectacular and beautiful but a little destructive as well. 
Many trees had to be cut down because of the heavy ice on their branches breaking some very big trees. 
But the beauty it created was something out of a crystal wonderland with everything coated in thick layers of ice and sparkling in the bright sunshine like they were diamonds!! 
Pictures don’t even do it justice.
