IRP 2107 + Güterzug/Goederentrein/Güterzug Hermalle - Veendam + TCS 101003 (LNA) - Hooghalen

            Als ich am 6. Juli 2021 um 20:05 sah, dass die 2107 der Indepent Rail Partner mit einem Güterzug gen Onnen unterwegs war, dachte ich mir, dass der Zug gegen 21:00 durch Assen fahren musste. Ich fuhr daraufhin zu Hooghalen und wartete geduldig auf dem Zug. Nur als der Zug kommen sollte (und die Sonne tatsächlich einen Weg durch die Wolken gefunden hatte) war der nicht da..  Ich wartete und wartete aber der Zug kam weiterhin nicht (und die Sonne war schon längst hinter den Wolken verschwunden).
Kurz vor 21:30 gab es dann doch noch eine kleine Lücke in der Wolkendecke und der Güterzug kam genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt...  Zu sehen ist der Güterzug mit der TCS 101003 am Zugschluss..

Op 6 juli 2021 kreeg ik mee, dat de dolimetrein uit Hermalle om 20:05 uit Zwolle was vertrokken. Snel keek ik naar de dienstregeling vanaf Zwolle en reed naar Hooghalen in de hoop de trein nog in de zon te kunnen fotograferen.  Ik rekende met de trein tegen 21:00 maar helaas kwam deze niet. Daarna verdween de zon achter de wolken en leek het erop dat deze ook niet meer tevoorschijn zou komen.
Ietsje voor half tien was er toch nog een klein gaatje in de wolken en een paar minuten later kwam de goederentrein eindelijk...
In het allerlaatste licht rijdt de IRP 2107 met de Dolimetrein (en TCS 101003 aan het einde van de trein) in de foto door Hooghalen naar Onnen...

Better late than never... was what I thought on July 6th 2021 when the freight train from Hermalle (in Belgium) to Onnen finally came running through Hooghalen at 21:33 in the last possible light.
I had been waiting for a while and had already given up hope of getting a sunny shot. Luckily Murphy was in a good mood and everything worked out :-)
