NS 1104 + IC trein Den Haag CS - Groningen - Haren

            Het is een tijdje geleden maar vroeger gedurende werkdagen (maandag - vrijdag) werd één slag tussen Groningen en Den Haag met loc en wagons gereden. Kort na 07:00 verliet deze trein Groningen, 's avonds kwam de trein weer retour. Een vaste locserie was er niet, soms reed de trein met een 1600 loc, soms met een 1300 en ook de 1100 serie werd regelmatig ingezet. Op een zonnige dag in Juli 1991 besloot ik de late trein tussen Haren en Groningen op te wachten. Met loc 1104 kwam de trein iets later voorbij, in de tegenrichting waren een tweetal koplopers richting Randstad onderweg...

Früher gab es immer ein Mal am (Werk)Tag eine Leistung zwischen Groningen und Den Haag welche lokbespannt gefahren wurde. Kurz nach 07:00 ging es los in Groningen, abends spät kam der Zug wieder zurück. Diese Leistung war gedacht für Beamteten die in der Regierungshauptstadt gearbeitet haben, wurde allerdings später gestrichen...
An einem schönen Sommertag in Juli in 1991 lauerte ich den abendlichen Rückzug gen Groningen kurz vor das Ziel auf und freute mich über die hübsche Lok der Baureihe 1100.
In der Gegenrichtung waren gerade zwei "Koploper" Triebwagen gen süden unterwegs...

Back in 1991, there was still a locomotive hauled service between Groningen and The hague. The train left Groningen shortly after 07:00 and allowed civil servants who worked in the Hague (where the Dutch government is located) to arrive on time for work. The return train would arrive back in Groningen in the evening. 
On a sunny day in July, I waited for this return train and was happy that it was hauled by a class 1100 engine...
