the cheap picture puzzle - a photo on Flickriver

            On a walk to social distancing.
  We all are trying to put the pieces together for a much brighter tomorrow.  I'm finding myself fearful when approaching the end, when all the shapes and colors are laid out, pressed together to form a bond of unity, that there will be that one piece missing.  That one lost piece that holds everything together and prevents us from seeing a sunnier tomorrow.  A void. An incompleteness and emptiness. Hope, for me, will be this cheap picture puzzle on the kitchen table, complete.
