Fenêtre sur Geroldsau, depuis le Merkur.

            Trying to catch up my delay ... But I was eager to post something new cos I hadn't posted anything for a long time ...

Photo prise lors d'une rando au cours de laquelle je suis monté successivement au sommet du Merkur (668m) et du Battert (568m), au départ de Ebersteinburg.

C'était la 1ère fois que j'allais explorer les environs de Baden-Baden et depuis, j'y suis retourné une bonne 15aine de fois en l'espace de 3 ans, surtout au Battert (une 10aine de fois).

Cette photo a été prise peu avant d'arriver au sommet du Merkur.

Ce jour-là, je n'ai pas vu souvent les rayons du soleil, mais ils ont fait quelques courtes apparitions magiques, que j'ai appréciées avec grand bonheur.

Le village qui est mis en lumière au centre est Geroldsau. Il est construit le long du cours d'eau nommé Grobbach, qui rejoint un peu plus loin l'Oosbach, pour former l'Oos, qui traverse ensuite Lichtental (que l'on voit tout en bas) puis Baden-Baden en allant vers le Nord-Est. La vallée de l'Oos se nomme l'Oostal.
