ANTEA

            Antea, a 35 m multidisciplinary research vessel, built in 1996 in Les Sables d'Olonne, operates in the Mediterranean Sea, Indian Ocean and Atlantic Tropical.

Its particularity, like the Alis, is to be able to travel long distances and to allow to carry out coastal missions in remote areas.

Missions
It carries out missions by:

physical oceanography (electrocarrier cable, hull ADCP);
chemistry and fisheries;
exploration of the water column.
biology (trawling, 4-frequency ER 60 sounder, scanmar sensors).
It is also used as a support ship for diving missions (study of biodiversity).

L’Antea, navire de recherche pluridisciplinaire de 35 m, construit en 1996 aux Sables d’Olonne, opère en mer méditerranée, océan Indien et tropical atlantique.

Sa particularité, comme l’Alis, est de pouvoir se déplacer sur de longues distances et de permettre de réaliser des missions côtières dans des zones éloignées.

Missions
Il réalise des missions en :

océanographique physique (câble électroporteur, ADCP de coque) ;
chimie et l’halieutique ;
exploration de la colonne d’eau. 
biologie (chalutage, sondeur ER 60 4 fréquences, capteurs scanmar).
Il est aussi utilisé en tant que navire support pour des missions de plongée (étude de la biodiversité).
