Welcome! - a photo on Flickriver

Welcome!

            This is a special photo to me as it was the first time I actually built up the courage to ask a stranger for their portrait. A million questions raced through my mind. How would she react? How would I react? 

‘It’s now or never!’ I thought to myself, so I prepared my camera settings, crossed the road and approached her with a rather overwhelming sense of trepidation.

Well, I think the outcome says it all! I survived! The thought was certainly harder than the task!
