Waterfalls in Autumn, Matasalgado Stream, Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, Madrid, Spain

Very little water flow in these waterfalls in Matasalgado Stream, with many fallen leaves that provided a magical autumnal atmosphere, although the temperature was approximately 66F (19ºC) and the sky was clear.

The drought is being really alarming in Madrid´s Sierra. We are in Autumn, but rain is being worryingly low.

Cascadas en Otoño, Arroyo de Matasalgado, Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Guadarrama, Madrid, España

Muy poco caudal de agua en estas cascadas en el Arroyo de Matasalgado, con muchas hojas caídas que aportaban una mágica atmósfera otoñal, si bien la temperatura era de aproximadamente 19ºC y el cielo estaba despejado completamente.

La sequía está siendo realmente alarmante en la Sierra de Madrid. Estamos en Otoño, pero las precipitaciones están siendo preocupantemente escasas.
