            in Russia and the countries of the former USSR in every multi-story building there is a garbage chute for example in Stalinist buildings of the 40s and 50s the garbage chute is in the apartment usually it is located right in the kitchen or in the toilet nowadays in Stalinist buildings the garbage chute in the apartments is welded and in 9-story buildings of the IL-49 and 1-515/9 series as well as in buildings of the P-57 series and in 12-story buildings of the II-18/12 series and 14-story buildings of the I-200 series the garbage chute is located on the landing through the floor because of which there is an unpleasant smell from the garbage chute in the entrance the same picture can be in 14-story buildings of the P-55 series and in 12-story buildings of the P-30 series
But sometimes in entrance  you can fill horribly smell from garbage chute
