I was out here earlier this evening trying to photo the sunset. I could watch it on a thousand evenings and every time it looks completely different. The picture really doesnt to it justice as you cant hear the Curlews calling to each other before the darkness as they sleep here, out on the estuary, safe from Foxes and Stoats and other marauders of the night.
Its very difficult for anyone to take a photo of a sunset over water here on the east coast of Ireland for obvious reasons.This is an incredible place as its a huge estuary that runs east/west and the views are amazing. Not alone that but the sunrises from the beach only a few hundred yards from here, with its 2 unique islands are stunning.

Its just magical and only a 20 minute drive north of Dublin city and I am so lucky to able to come here anytime I like and stay for a few days as my best friend has a place only a short walk away.
