" Homeward Bound " Repost. - a photo on Flickriver

Walking home before the rain, across Bray Head, Co. Wicklow with my home village of of Greystones in the distance. Its where I was born and reared and to me, its everything. The path is visible winding its way through the bracken which is almost head height at the moment and not a lot of people know this "secret" way so it gets a bit overgrown The coast line of Co. Wexford is visible 60 miles away with the outline of Mount Leinster just visible on the finger of land sticking out into the Irish Sea. A great place to go and sit for an hour and just let it all wash over you.

I don't know why I took this at f/4! Must have moved the dial without realising it! Anyway I like the blurriness in the distance.
The flower is wild Bell Heather { Erica Cinera } and is lovely litlle plant that thrives here among the rocks.
Its a very special place.
