            River Witham, 3/4 mile north of Kirkstead bridge. Very rare visitor to the UK. Weather was foggy, and the bird is able to dive and travel fast underwater so it easily gets out of view, leaving about 50 birders tearing up and down the bank looking for it ! Couple of times it surfaced ridiculously close to me so the fog effect wasn't too great on this shot.
