NRM 43 102 'The Journey Shrinker'. Locomotion, Shildon

            National Railway Museum's BREL/Paxman Class 43 'HST Power Car' number 43 102 'The journey Shrinker'. In later years for LNER and EMR this loco carried the number 43 302. This Power Car is a worthy addition to 'The National Collection' given the fact that it broke the speed record for a diesel locomotive in BR days reaching 148.5 MPH in 1987 between Northallerton and York on the East Coast Main Line.
