Upper Falls Explored! - a photo on Flickriver

            This shot happened a bit by accident. I have been trying to get a feel for a scene these days by leaving the tripod packed up until I find my composition (or desired compositions). Once I snap a few hand held, I’ll then get out the tripod, set up and try and capture all the exposures I need…

This was one of those shots…. and the clouds were beautiful, and everything just looked better in this shot compared to the later shots from the tripod.

To make use of this single exposure, I had to double process it, to really bring out the clouds in the sky while still maintaining the foreground.  I then used one of the tripod shots to blend in the water with a longer smoother exposure for the water movement. Pretty pleased with the angle and composition on this one, but wished the tripod shots would have been better :)
