Verso la vetta - a photo on Flickriver

Verso la vetta

            15 luglio 2008. Mio figlio lungo il percorso che sale alla punta Beltovo ((Hintere Schöntaufspitze, 3.325 m) in Suldental (Sud Tirolo, Italy). Un'abbondante nevicata estiva aveva dato al paesaggio un'inconsueta veste invernale (per la stagione).  Di solito l'itinerario di salita a quella che viene considerata "la cima di tremila metri più 'leggera' dell'Alto Adige" percorre agevoli pendii  su tracce di sentiero. Quel giorno era tutto su neve, con passaggi di misto in cresta a carattere alpinistico. Il tutto era (relativamente) impegnativo ma (molto) soddisfacente; e la vista a 360 gradi dalla vetta era indimenticabile. Un anticipo di quella vista è l'elegante vetta del Gran Zebrù (Königsspitze, 3.857 m) che si staglia sullo sfondo della foto.
