summers days gone by - a photo on Flickriver

            Eastern Tiger Swallowtail on New York Ironweed.
 Met an elderly gentleman this particular day in the summer of 2015. Slow and deliberate with thick lensed glasses and only capable of macro photography. He had an elaborate set up that was necessary for him to carry on with his photographic work. We struck up conversation and he asked, "what have you shot this afternoon?" After showing him, "Eastern Tiger Swallowtail on New York Ironweed, nice shot" he said.
