Giant Fortress - a photo on Flickriver

Giant Fortress

            Enroute from Guam to its homebase Barksdale this B-52H (AF60-048) stopped at Fairford airbase to participate in the Royal International Air Tattoo 2019.
Here the bomber is prepared for take off for its last jump across the Atlantic Ocean.
This giant fortress was the last aircraft to leave Fairford Airbase on departure day.
