Crocothemis erythraea (Brullé, 1832)

            En la balsa de riego que suelo frecuentar a partir de mediados de septiembre y durante octubre suele aumentar la actividad entre los odonatos que allí vuelan. Las cópulas, cuando el calor aprieta, son más fáciles de ver y suelen ser varias especies la que se afanan en perpetuar su especie. Este año Crocothemis erythraea ha sido la protagonista en la balsa junto a Diplacodes lefebvrei, he podido ver bastantes cópulas de ambas especies.
