Healing through beauty - a photo on Flickriver

            The Japanese Maple tree in Portland's famous Japanese Garden. 

The Japanese Garden in Portland Oregon is widely considered the most beautiful and famous Japanese garden outside of Japan.

The Garden was created both to give the citizens of Portland a place of serene beauty while also healing the relationship with Japan after the effects of World War II.

I was hoping to see this particular tree in all its glory as the leaves changed for fall, but I was a week to early. I would have loved to capture more of the tree with a wider lens like my 12mm, but since I was using my 16-35mm, I made a pano using 3 series of bracketed shots.
