Creeping Light - a photo on Flickriver

Creeping Light

            During sunrise the first light hits the top of Factory Butte and slowly creeps down the face of the mountain. I say slowly but the light changes so much as its making its way down the face of the mountain you only have so much time to capture the image before it changes.

I had been out all night capturing Milky Way images but I drove 40 minutes back to this spot because I wanted to see and capture this image.
