Nyctale de Tengmalm / Boreal Owl / Aegolius funereus

J'ai trouvé la petite nyctale grace à une autre superbe Lifer cette mémorable journée. Ce lifer m'avait fait courir jusqu'à la ville de Québec sans succès mais j'y avais rencontré un bon et très sympathique ami Daniel Dupont qui m'avait guidé dans ses endroits de prédilections avec  une patience d'ange. La nyctale de Tengmalm que je n'avais pas remarquée aux abords du sentier de ce petit boisé très densément peuplé de petits feuillus. Sur mon chemin du retour nos yeux se sont croisés et c'est elle qui m'a fait découvrir la Petite nyctale qui dormait pas très loin de cet endroit.

I found the little owl thanks to another superb Lifer this memorable day. This lifer had made me run all the way to Québec City without success but I had the chance to met a good and very Flickr friend  Daniel Dupont who as guided me in his favorite places with the patience of an angel. The Lifer in question is the Boreal Owl (Tengmalm's) that I had not noticed near the path on my way in this small wooded area very densely populated with small hardwoods. On my way back our eyes cross and it was here who made me discover the little Northern Saw-whet Owl who was sleeping not far from that place.
