Black-billed Magpie (Pica hudsonia) looking for food

            I spied this black-billed Magpie at Westchester Lagoon looking for food along a pathway. I had an opportunity to watch these birds and their behavior. They are quite beautifully colored, but they are bullies and will harass other wildlife to get what they want. And they are very smart social birds!
