Red-necked Grebe (Podiceps grisegena)

            I found this beautiful Red-necked Grebe in Westchester Lagoon in Anchorage, Alaska. The Red-necked Grebe is a diving bird and you can see from the water and matted feathers that this bird has been looking for food. We would watch them dive below the surface to return less than a minute after.

Captured with my Canon 7D Mark II with Sigma 150-600mm Sports Lens.
