            SET 1 – HLT Remodel: 8-18-2023

Before we go inside to explore those big new developments, though, first we need to spend a second here on the outside of the store: and it’s crucial we do that this time, too, since as you can see, the exterior had finally been defaced :(  On one hand, it was of course very sad to finally see the remodel make its way fully outside the building and remove the original-since-day-one storefront signage. On the other hand, though, the fact that we’d reached that point in the remodel process meant that things were getting ever closer to wrapping up, which is exciting in its own right.

EDIT: By the way, it's OfficeMax week this week -- 10 years since the one in Horn Lake closed (!!) -- at least it's somewhat visible in this photo, since I had nothing else planned :P  That store is now closing yet again, as American Freight goes out of business...
