Thanks again for following along with my photostream for another year! Whether you are relatively new to joining me or you’ve been here all along, I appreciate you viewing, faving, and commenting on my content. I know I’m putting out less of it these days than I used to, but trust me, I’ve still got plenty in the backlogs, so I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon! Likewise, I intend to keep going with my blog as well, and encourage y’all to check that out if you haven’t already – hopefully I’ll manage to squeeze a post in during this upcoming busy season, but no promises on that, haha.

I am grateful for all the friendships I’ve made through this hobby, and can’t believe 2024 will mark my tenth year posting about retail stuff online – crazy to believe it’s been this long!! It feels like just yesterday the young Retail Retell-in-waiting was reading ACME Style (RIP…) and trying to come up with a username that wasn’t too awfully dumb :P Okay, no, that’s a lie; it does feel like that was quite some time ago, lol. But on the flip side, there’s also comfort in feeling like I’ve been a part of this community for a long time, for sure!

Even though I’m not necessarily as engaged as I used to be – both due to time commitments, and other reasons – I still enjoy following along with all of y’all’s content as I get the chance. I do want to apologize for being behind on that a lot of times, and also to say that part of that is on flickr – I have had issues accessing the site in my mobile browser for several months now, and my communications with the support team haven’t resulted in a solution. Ultimately I just gave up. The app doesn’t suit the way I use the site and I’m not always on my laptop, so even more behind I fall. But I will always make my best attempt to catch back up!

I hope you’ll stick around as we move into 2024 – I’ve got lots of great stuff planned for this year. The major highlight, of course, is going to be my chronicles of the Horn Lake Target remodel, which finally took place after 24 years in business throughout this past year of 2023. I was very, very sad to see the P97 wavy neon go, but at the same time, there was definitely a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding the remodel that we all expected to happen at some point (the pivotal question just being “when”). I’ll of course have plenty of Kroger content as well and maybe even some other assorted retail sprinkled in along the way, so thanks again to all of you guys, and please stay tuned for more!!
