Hernando Mural (5,000th Upload!) - a photo on Flickriver

Last up for today… I didn’t have a really special shot or anything to mark the occasion with, so I figured this heretofore unposted pic of the Hernando Kroger Marketplace mural would be good enough to post for my 5,000th upload :P As you may recall from my never-ending Kroger saga a few years back (has it been that long already?!), this store was supposed to have a mural in the entry vestibule… but that never materialized. Thankfully, however, l_dawg2000 managed to find it after all – turns out, it was simply placed in the café seating area instead! According to the plaque beside it, the so-called “local” artist is actually from Memphis, though :/ That’s okay, though – she still managed to render our water tower and courthouse (and cupola!) nicely :) Thanks for following along for the 5,000 photos so far, y’all – trust me when I say that 5,000 is barely the tip of the iceberg, too! I’ve got plenty more in the pipeline to share… including 10 more this Saturday. Stick around!
