L'escalier - La Seine Musicale - a photo on Flickriver

            La Seine musicale est un ensemble de bâtiments en forme de vaisseau, consacrés à toute la musique, ouverts à tous les publics et pouvant accueillir des manifestations variées : artistiques, politiques, festives, commerciales etc. Elle est située sur la pointe aval de l'Île Seguin à Boulogne-Billancourt dans les Hauts-de-Seine.
La conception du grand bâtiment de 280 mètres de long fut confiée aux architectes Shigeru Ban et son associé Jean de Gastines. La scénographie des salles est réalisée par l'agence dUCKS scéno tandis que les études acoustiques ont été confiées aux cabinets Nagata Acoustics et Lamoureux Acoustics
La Seine Musicale is a music and performing arts center located on Île Seguin an island on the Seine river between Boulogne-Billancourt and Sèvres, in the western suburbs of Paris, France.-In 2009 the lead coordinating architect for the project was named as Jean Nouvel although individual buildings have subsequently been commissioned from a range of international architectural practices. The initial complex of buildings on the island opened in April 2017 and were designed by the architectural team of Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines. The facilities include an elevated egg-shaped auditorium for classical music, a larger modular concert hall, rehearsal rooms and an extensive roof garden. Much of the site's daytime energy needs are supplied by a large mobile curved solar panel array that covers the smaller auditorium.
