Bargoed Bound - 2

            Stagecoach in South Wales introduced Alexander PS-bodied Volvo B10Ms to Merthyr Tydfil depot's Services 1, 2 and 3 (Merthyr Tydfil-Rhymney-Bargoed) in 1998, and they were a regular allocation for 16 years.  The last four (20385/7-9) were replaced in 2014 by a similar number of Wright Renown-bodied Volvo B10BLEs transferred from the former First depot in Wigan the previous year.  However, 20685 returned briefly in 2015.

Service 1 covered the villages of Fochriw and Deri., and this shot from September 2009 depicts 20364 turning into Farm Road in Pontlottyn before undertaking the climb to Fochriw.

New to Crosskeys depot and having also operated from Aberdare depot on Service 172, she ended her days at Merthyr Tydfil and passed to Abba Scrap  of Dowlais in July 2011.
