North Tawton 06/09/1961

            Taken from the footbridge looking towards Okehampton.
The person pushing the bike is my Grandad on his way to work the Signal Box 1200-2015  having arrived by train from Bow where he lived.
Not so lucky with the early turn which was from 0330-1200 having to cycle the 3 miles to work.

North Tawton at this time was a main line Station on the old LSWR route from Exeter to Plymouth via Okehampton & Tavistock.
