            I was at my work desk when I heard the crows raising a racket - not unusual. But then I heard the familiar call of a red-tailed hawk. I grabbed the camera, and before I was out to the yard, I heard the hawk again. But, went into the yard, and looked around. Three crows were in a tree, but no hawk with them. So, I started shooting our resident red-breasted sapsucker. But, glanced over to a tree on the south edge of the property, and discovered that the hawk was still there. It certainly appears that it knew I was still there, too!
