            Saints Philip and James Roman Catholic Church – foundation stone laid 1892. The Presbytery can be seen in the right of the image.

On the same property is the corner stone of the Hookina St Thomas ‘A’ Beckett Catholic Church. The foundation stone was laid by Bishop Reynolds on 15 July 1885.
The last mass was said 17 July 1960, and the church was demolished in April 1966.
